Selenite is one of the least known and most underrated crystals out there. This crystal does everything Quartz Crystal does and more! Selenite constantly recharges itself, so you never have to worry about cleansing it or recharging it--ever! Selenite can cleanse, recharge, and program your crystals and gemstones as well. The only other crystal that can cleanse, recharge, and program your crystals and gemstones that we know of is Apophyllite. Selenite is much easier to obtain.
Selenite comes in many forms--Gypsum Rose (aka Desert Rose) is Selenite mixed with sand. I don't get anything from the Gypsum Rose form and have not used it at all, but that doesn't mean you will have the same experience with it. Fishtail Selenite is twin crystals, and if you will look at the photo below, you will see how it got its name. Satin Spar Selenite is the fibrous form of Selenite which we offer for sale here; it is comprised of long "fibers". It has a white satin luminescence to it that partially shows in the photos below but is far more spectacular when you see it "live".
Selenite helps us to merge the energy of Spirit into our daily lives. It is pure white light and brings this white light into your life, both inside and outside of you. Like Quartz, this mineral has stored information that can be revealed to us when we work with it. It is good to use when we are emotionally upset, because it has a calming influence and can help you see a situation objectively. Selenite can be placed on the Third Eye Chakra to heighten astral projection. It can also increase your telepathic abilities. It is extremely useful with any healing treatment.
Satin Spar Selenite is an excellent mineral to use for power grids; by itself or with other crystals. It works well with any stone that has a female polarity.
