Sugilite is a deep violet stone which was discovered in Africa less than 20 years ago. It is also referred to as Luvulite, Gem Sugilite and Royal Lazelle. This is another stone that you see in carvings, beads, amulets and cabochons. The main use of this stone is to move energy through the system. However it is found to be helpful in clearing congested thought forms and aiding intuition. NOTE: When Sugilite first entered the crystal healing field, some thought it could cure cancer.
